Viking Mentorship
Mentoring provides young people with the guidance, support, and personal development they need to succeed in life. Mentoring professionals also need guidance, in the form of training, tools, and proven strategies, if they are to develop and expand successful programs.
Growing up, there were people in your life who encouraged you, showed you the ropes, and helped you become the person you are today.
Most successful people say they had mentors along the way who guided and encouraged them. The Harvard Mentoring Project interviewed prominent people from various fields about their mentors.
East Lyme Public School, in collaboration with East Lyme Youth Service are working with the Mentor Consulting Group (MCG) to help guide, plan, and implement a safe and effective mentoring program.
