The East Lyme High School Porter & Chester Institute collaboration has been a great success! Superintendent Newton did well when competing against ELHS students on a high-tech welding simulator. The student's final week entailed specialized instruction on a variety of welding techniques using a simulator as well as traditional tools. For next year, we are exploring expanding the collaboration to include a focus on allied health. The students, due to their commitment, represented the ELHS community in an admirable fashion.
