Public Access to BOE Agendas and Minutes
(Effective May 2018 to August 2025)
The Board of Education consists of ten elected members to serve unsalaried, four-year terms. Following an election, Board members are sworn in. The Board of Education elects a Chairperson and a Secretary, annually in December.
Board of Educations meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, unless otherwise announced. Regular meetings are scheduled at 6:00 p.m. at East Lyme High School.
Board meetings are conducted under Robert's Rules of Order.
Meetings are streamed live on on East Lyme Public School's YouTube Channel.
Public Participation
All Board meetings except Executive Sessions are open to the public.
The Board of Education addresses public comment in person at regular meetings and designates that three minutes may be allotted for each speaker.
If you cannot attend in person, meetings are streamed live on East Lyme Public School's YouTube Channel and Breezeline Channel 191 or 2003, where meetings are also archived for later viewing.
