Student Registration

In addition to the links above, please click and review the following information for Kindergarten Registration and Transfers:

Kindergarten Questionnaire

All children turning five years of age on or before January 1, 2018 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall of 2017.  Parents who have questions may call the elementary school or the district's administration office at 739-3966.

Parents should bring to registration a copy of the child's birth certificate, immunization record, and three forms of proof of East Lyme residency (town tax bill, valid lease, utility bill, etc.)

Students are not required to attend registration.  A visitation day will be held later in the year.

Since class sizes are determined by enrollment, early registration is strongly encouraged.  This can help to alleviate over-crowded classrooms or the need to redistribute students after the start of school year.

Registration packets will also be available at each school two weeks prior to registration.

It is the policy of the East Lyme Board of education not to discriminate on the basis or race, color, religious creed, age, physical disability or sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, or mental disorder in any of its educational activities or employment policies.
